Undergraduate students:
We offer an internship opportunity for undergraduate students on a rolling basis every semester (including summer). Students complete a 1-3 credit independent study under the course GEOL499 (Special Problems in Geology). If you are passionate about environmental science, we encourage people from all majors to apply. Send your CV and a short personal statement to Dr. Kaushal (skaushal@umd.edu).
We also accept undergraduate students who are able to secure their own funding or need to fulfill external internship requirements. In the past, we have accepted SOARE, REU, Scholars, and School of Public Health students.
