During EPA's annual awards ceremony, lab alumnus Dr. Tammy Newcomer-Johnson won 3 National Honor Award Bronze Medals from the US EPA. They are for being a part of the Water Quality Assessment Team, the ROCS-Net Team (Regional-Office of Research and Development Community of Science Networking Team), and the EcoService Models Library team.
